Dragonfly Hill Farm is a small family farm located in Surry County, Virginia. Nestled on 25 acres, this picturesque farm offers a serene escape from the hustle and bustle of everyday life. We take pride in cultivating a variety of fruits, flowers, and more, while maintaining a sustainable and eco-friendly approach. Our commitment to responsible farming practices ensures that our products are of the highest quality, and we are dedicated to providing a peaceful and enjoyable experience for all our visitors.
Our Story
The farm that LOVE built
My husband and I met when we were 16 and in high school in Virginia Beach, VA, later married and raised our two children there. Upon their graduation, we purchased our 25 acres with a 150-year-old plus farmhouse and began renovations as we were hoping for a slower and simpler way of life. Little did we know that life would lead us down this road of agritourism and farming. We meet with a gentleman who was an Apple Guru and helped us decide what varieties to plant; next thing you know the digging commenced ending with 640 holes filled with apple trees. As the farm has evolved, we have added you cut flowers of many types, you pick vegetables, a 1/2-mile walking trail, outdoor seating, a quaint gift shop with farmers market items and hand-crafted gifts.
